Smithing is still pretty good. Almost too good. Kind of game breaking. A bit of a grind to get to where you're making 30k+ a two handed polearm, but once you're there it makes money irrelevant. If you don't want to make money completely irrelevant, I was doing pretty good with caravan's out of prosperous cities and wine and velvet workshops. Caravan is being led by a companion with 80 trade skills (and scouting). The issue is that caravan only makes money every once in a long long while. Most of the time it doesn't take wages and doesn't make income and hence does not show up on ledger. I think the issue might be that caravan is only breaking even on a daily basis. Trade skill allows them to make more money. Scouting skill allows them to move faster, and avoid enemies more easily. Steward isn't necessary, since they have a fixed party size. *Where* you form the caravan matters a lot. In Aserai or Khuzait lands, they'll be chased down by fast desert or steppe bandits. Question. I have two caravans in operation, yet one of them had its income slowly decrease and then vanish off of the income tooltip (not even in deficit, just not appearing). The caravan leader is still in my clan, and the caravan is stil fully manned and travelling around the map. You can dismantle them in the clan page. go to the parties tab and select the caravan you want to dismantle, select change leader and out of the options you can choose 'none' this will dismantle the caravan. The game gives a pop-up if you choose this option to confirm if you realy want to dismantle the party/caravan. #1. . 419 263 220 441 45 436 259 366
