Hi all! I have a '15 Transit Connect with an 1.6 TDCI engine, all ok, it's a near brand new van with 76K miles in the clock, but 2 weeks ago began a small issue. If i start it morning, 20-25°C ambient temp, and drive only 500 meters, once revving over 2000 rpm, i get fault code P2598, and then the van stuck in limp mode, i lost 30% of power

You’ll need to see which engine you have as there are 3 engines here: 3.5L (Gas, EcoBoost turbo) 3.7L (Gas, EcoBoost turbo) 2.2L i5 (diesel, totally different from the gas engines) If you are not sure, there should be a sticker under the hood with the engine code and displacement to make it easy to find out which one you need, or in the door jam.

The benefits. In the case of the Ford Transit Connect 1.5 TDCi 75hp engine, our ECU remapping file is tailored for more power and torque, reduced fuel consumption, smoother acceleration and improved throttle response. By optimising the torque curve the Ford Transit Connect 1.5 TDCi 75hp engine produces more torque at lower RPM.
