06-Aug-08. He said Kenetrek because they are a brand of boot. Very well made at that, and look to be every bit as good as the Lowa. One big difference is the Lowa's tend to run narrower than the Kenetrek. My Sheep Hunters are almost too wide, so the Kenetrek is not even an option.
Colorado Springs. I've had the Tibets and the Kenetreks and am currently wearing the Zamberlan Dakota's. The 980 Outfitter gtx rr will be a little heavier and stiffer than my boots, so more on par with the other two you're looking at. The Kenetreks were just too heavy and stiff for my preferences, and the Lowa's had a very shallow toe box.
